Have worked in the Environmental field professionally for the last 6 years. My areas of work have included waste and resource efficiency, environmental management (IEMA), green building design and construction, recycling and waste recovery and local planning issues around sustainable building.

I discovered Permaculture whilst i was living in Bristol in the UK in 2008 and found a lot of hope and optimism within it. I have spent the last three years working on many Permaculture small holdings/communites across the globe, in England, Wales, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

I recently worked for a local community owned recycling centre, Wanaka Wastebusters and helped with improving recycling rates and in particular electronic recycling. I am now undertaking design work on local small holdings in the Wanaka area to improve my working knowledge of Permaculture Design. I intend to build up a portfolio of work which i can submit in support of obtaining a Diploma and to work professionally as a designer.
