Raised in South-Central Kansas. BS in Economics from Kansas State University.
Introduced to Permaculture several years ago when I developed a fascination with Straw-Bale Building. Married and moved back on a portion of the family homestead; 7 acres, in 2005.
Dabbled in sustainable practices for several years (gardening & small livestock) then came across the Kansas Permaculture Institute and decided it was time to take a leap of faith. Presently in process of developing swales, sheet mulching, composting and researching guild species for my region.
