I am a musician. While in school studying music, I had a serious awakening of how the way that we are living is unsustainable and out of harmony with the Earth. I decided that i would try to use my energy to more directly help the situation and be a part of the change to a better world, and so i came home from school and started researching how to grow food and i stumbled on Permaculture - which to me seemed like obvious, common sense principles to grow food and live (do things the way nature has done it since the beginning of time? OFCOURSE!). From there i found out about the (AWESOME) Wa Samaki permaculture farm and i started going down there and volunteering while trying to study and learn what i can.
I would really love to be able to turn damaged useless land into abundant food forests for anyone to come and take food. imagine that! turning wastelands into abundance!
My plan is to one day be a part of creating and to live in a self-sustaining community where we can live in harmony with the Earth and with each other... to live in joy everyday the way our ancestors did. and to show people how possible and how uplifting it is to live in BALANCE
