Firstly, the hospital in Los -Angeles was amazed and paid tremendous $ 17,000 to unlock critical medical files. Then all the police sites in Massachusetts everyone became infected, and most of them spent thousands, receiving serious police records.
Ransomware has grown outside the attacks on Mamino-Pop-MAM for $ 500, which were distinctive signs of early versions of extortionists. Most of the attackers of a foreigner - in fact, the last attacks are asking for bitcoins payments - and the network is very complicated. They rarely tried to pursue small goals in court, and even when they did it, the distance and anonymity of the Internet made it almost impossible. And now extortionists are moving to the world of SMB - big risks, but much greater payments.
