My initial stumbling across permaculture lead me to carrying out an introduction course at Milkwood Farm in Mudgee. Nick put me onto Geoff Lawton, which is where I completed my PDC in the winter of 2010 after moving to the Northern Rivers.

MyHusband and I own a small property on 11/2 acres in Crabbes Creek. Together we have created the basics of a chicken pen, worm farm, compost, veggie beds and planted a few fruit trees. My aim being to grow food asap. Now that's happening I need to pay some serious attention to my main frame.

My next focus would have to be around water capture. I'm on tank water and don't think I have enough space for a dam. I do need to sort out my grey water and irrigation systems, along with swales for more impressive food forest.
