Studied Ecology at Edinburgh University, also graduated in Brewing and worked for several microbreweries before setting up the Freeminer Brewery in Gloucestershire, UK. Moved to Portugal in 2006, buying the semi-abandoned property of Varzea da Gonçala, near Aljezur, on the Algarve Atlantic coast. This has since been steadily developed along Permaculture principles to produce a harmonious productive ecosystem, with the aim also of inspiring others and guide them in their own project.
