I am an ecologist and community development worker specialising in conserving traditional knowldege. I am deeply committed to this. I am self taught in permaculture through reading and woofing, but have formally studied agroforestry ecology and have spent much time in nature observing.
Currently I am involved in permaculture projects in Uganda, East Africa and Northern Thailand. These projects target school children and empower the youth towards self sustainability. Most of the areas I work in are extremely poor and the people are disempowered. For this reason I work only at a grass roots community based level.
