Today we all want to be all fashionable and stylish, especially in the era of social media where everything and everyone seems so perfect with their dressing sense. There are so many fashion influencers that make people enthusiastic about being fashionable and hence endorsing different brands. So can we take a moment to realise how much we have evolved and developed over a period of time in the history of humankind and how the lives of human beings have changed so much from being a wandering animal in a forest with no concept of clothing to the evolution of civilisation to this day where clothing brands matter so much to us?

1. Gucci, Italy


It is an Italian luxury brand of leather and fashion goods founded in 1921 in Florence, Tuscany, by Guccio Gucci. This top fashion brand is now redefining the luxury for the 21st century under the eclectic and romantic direction of Alessandro Michele. Gucci is one of the tops and most expensive fashion brands of 2022 due to its representation of the zenith of Italian craftsmanship. It is not only the most expensive clothing brand in the world but also the most prominent highest-selling fashion brand in the world. Gucci has recently dressed Harry Styles and Billie Eilish for the Grammy and also launched a new North Face collaboration selling digital sneakers with Wanna.

2. Dior, France


Popularly known as Dior, Christian Dior SE is a French luxury fashion brand. Christian Dior founded this fashion brand in 1946. This is now controlled and chaired by Bernard Arnault, a French businessman who also heads the world's largest luxury group LVMH. Since 2018 the CEO of the Dior Couture has been Pietro Beccari. This brand sells clothing and shoes, and the haute couture is under the Christian Dior Couture division. Dior appointed Kim Ji-soo of Blackpink as the global ambassador and also launched a Snapchat lens for trying sneakers in AR. Though its initial LV knows it, its complete name is Louis Vuitton Malletier. It is another French luxury goods company and fashion house that Georges Louis Vuitton established in 1854. It is one of the earliest fashion houses in the world and is still very successful and popular. LV and his successors introduced different innovations like lightweight canvas, the tumbler lock, the flat top trunk, and signature patterns. Prada combined cultural support remarkable elements of artisanal know-how heritage with modern environmental principles and ethical manufacturing. Cristobal Balenciaga founded this Spanish heritage luxury fashion house, a Spanish designer in 1917 and is currently based in Paris, France.


The famous Christian Dior referred to Balenciaga as a couturier of uncompromising standards and "The Master of us all". Balenciaga is back to its creative roots due to its brand designer Demna Gvasalia. She put a lot of hard work into exploring the house archives and reimagining the work of Cristobal Balenciaga from a new perspective. This brand has recently teamed up with Kanye West for the launch of his album Donda and doubled down on the metaverse with Fortnite collaboration. 6. Moncler, Italy


This Fashion house took its name from the French Alpine town of Monestier-de-Clermont and was founded by Rene Ramillon in 1952. This brand has gained cult status across women's, men's and children's styles with its firm grip on mountaineering heritage and a perfect fusion of alpine sensibility and street style. Alongside its main lines, the collaborative Genius Project eschews biannual runway shows in favour of original capsules with a contemporary touch. It has reported a 118% revenue increase for Q2 by opening the 2nd store under Milan Flagship in Galleria Vitoria Emanuel II. 7. Saint Laurent, France


More commonly known as Saint Laurent, Yves Saint Laurent is a French Fashion Brand that was founded in 1961 by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge. By launching a collection in 1966 called "Saint Laurent Rive Gauche" that is synonymous with youth and freedom, Yves Saint Laurent became the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-Porter. It is a part of the Kering Group. Under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello, who was appointed in 2016, this fashion house has kept true to its identity of absolute modernity and fashion authority. It held its S/S'21 show in Paris inspired by Paloma Picasso, S/S'22 collection for men was shown in Venice.


8. Armani, Italy


More popularly known as Armani, Giorgio Armani S.p.A is a luxury fashion house in Italy. It was founded in 1975 by Giorgio Armani. This fashion house designs, distribute, manufacture, retail-ready to wear, haute couture, shoes, leather goods, jewellery, watches, eyewear, home interiors, cosmetics and accessories. Armani markets these products under several labels like Giorgio Armani, Giorgio Armani Privé, Emporio Armani, Armani Exchange and Armani Junior.
