From a heritage of green thumbs and travellers and migrants and environmentalists, I was stuck in the mainstream for far too long. Hanging around in normal society but leaning towards the fringes, and always aware something wasn't quite right.
A small change makes a big difference, for me it was becoming a full time vegetarian in 2006. This set me on a path towards investigating all the bad things that are done in the name of profit and has lead me to Permaculture.
Now (having been a traveller and migrant, being a green thumb and environmentalist) the path paved with Permaculture heads in the direction of providing as much as possible for ourselves...however without land this is a challenge. Until a permanent patch presents itself, I'll be spreading the word and getting involved in other projects as much as I can.
