Hi, I am Fabienne. Born in Basel/Switzerland, just a few kilometers away from the french and german borders.

I spend most of the time of my childhood in my grandmothers garden, and already there I loved to appreciate nature and the animals.

Through the books of the russian hermit "Anastasia" I got to permaculture. In 2006 I attended a german PDC, but unfortunately through lack of preparation on my part, I ended up quite discouraged, because of the overwhelming wide-ranging information of permaculture. I thought i will never make it.

In 2008 I met Markus Pölz (a graduated pc-designer & teacher). Together we created an urban permaculture balcony and in 2010 I bought a acre of agriculture land 23km from Basel away. We transformed the "green pearl" - how we baptized it - to a beautiful forest garden and hold there a few courses & guides. Local papers wrote about the balcony and the garden.

In 2011 I attended a Teachers Training Course with Rosemary Morrow near Graz in Austria.

2012 I decided to retry a PDC, but this time with Bill & Geoff. They were very motivating ;)

Currently I am writing a book about permaculture and I am member of the core team of the upcoming swiss "Permakultur Akademie" together with Markus Pölz and Elena Tarozzo.
