My background is in linguistics, education and information technology. Born and raised in Reykjavik and have lived there most of my life, apart from 5 years in the far west of Iceland and as a boy spending the summer with my father's family in the far east. Travels to various countries in Europe, America and the Middle East. Know Icelandic, English, Nordic languages, German, French.

Living off the land has always fascinated me. In 2012 me and my wife Dagný (www.dagny.is) fell in love with permaculture on the Internet.

We lived from April - October in Skyggnissteinn a 15 acre country home between Geysir and Gullfoss from 2013 to 2017 and since 2017 all year round working full time as permaculture gardeners.
