I was raised and born in Mexico City, a jungle of cement. My first work as an engineer in food was helping a comunity to have more profits from their land. They have been amaranth farmers for a long time but they were losing their lands because of the uses of chemical in the soil, erosion and low income. They went full organic and I helped them to give the amaranth a extra value, we made cereal bars with agave sirup and the comunity flourished starting to have a better quality of life.
My first expierence with organic agriculture was awesome so I start to dig more in the subject and found permaculture.
As a human I feel responsable for the world that we lived in and its our responsability to fix the damage humans have been doing to our planet. Permaculture is a way to do it.
I have a proyect in Mexico City called Tierra Permanente, we seek to bring Permaculture and Regenerative Design to the city and to the people who live in it that are so disconected of nature.

I´ve been inspired by people like Darren Doherty who taught me to think holistic and make me believe we can fed everyone in the planet without distroying it. Geoff with his amazing designs and water management. Jairo Restrepo with his inspirational speeches and humbleness.
