After graduating from Architectural School I worked in social housing. Back then nobody believed that rammed earth was an excellent option to solve the country's habitational needs. Mud houses were seeing as a low quality construction method and were also associated to the lowest income families

Struggling to sell this idea in Colombia I decided to move to the Pacific North West (A sustainability hub in America) and reencountered myself with rammed earth while working on ski-hills in multi-million dollar houses. This time as a high end craftsmanship technique.

Then I went on to train with the best natural builders in Canada, where I sharpened my building skills and complemented my design practice with an ethical approach. I took my Permaculture design Certificate course with Rob Avis. He did a good job because right after the course I started looking for the most experienced instructor for a teacher training in that area, and found Judde Hobbs with whom I took the Advance Teacher Training in Permaculture.

Looking back I think I have a great Permaculture family. I have the Australian influence through Rob, and the North American one trough Judde, now we'll go to spread the word in South America

I am a Colombian registered Architect, Natural builder, Permaculture consultant, Designer and Teacher with specialty courses in Rammed Earth and Superadobe from Cal-earth.
