I have been interested in Permaculture for the last 20 years. I have read a lot and use many principles here at Mystic.
We have recently made a decision to use and convert as much of the energy that is in the water to something tangible that we can benefit from. So far we have two greenhouses, soaking pools, and fish ponds that utilize the water. With the amount of heat (2 million btu's an hour)and water we have we should be able to support a small community of 30-40 people. We are also testing a 40kw generator that runs off the water too. Lots of energy to use in new ways.
