I grew up and currently live in Durban, South Africa.
I heard about permaculture through a "black-sheep" uncle who planted a seed for me.....after which I came across the formalised ideas of permaculture while looking into CSR projects at the company I worked for in 2008. I was gifted by some very special people with the opportunity to take a PDC and complete an internship at Zaytuna Farm in 2009 which opened my mind to a world of permaculture design thinking.
I'm currently setting up a local food hub, while my long-term goal is to set up a demonstration & education site in KwaZulu Natal.
