I have a background in Horticulture and Arboriculture
I started work in 1976 , at 16 working in plant nurseries then as a green-keeper on golf courses and bowling greens.I did a few years in construction on building sites in QLD then WA.

From around 1985 to 2004 I had a company NEW EARTH ENTERPRISES including a wholesale plant nursery and a commercial horticultural maintence company . I provided services in tree planting , tree surgery and landscape maintenance .

Since 2004 i have been working as a permaculture teacher, designer and consultant . see www.edge5.com.au

I have taught with Bill Mollison and Geoff Lawton on their PDC in Melbourne . I also taught advanced design with David Holmgren in WA .
I continue to teach in Africa and South East Asia and have helped set up the Ghana PC Institute and the kilimanjaro PC Institute .

I completed my first PDC with David Holmgren and Leah Harrison at kangaroo Valley in 1991.

in 1993 I completed the Advanced Design Course with Robyn Francis

1997 spent 1 year teaching permaculture in the Philippines

1978 Built the first urban straw-bale house in Hilton WA

2001 I completed a PDC with Bill Mollison .

2001 received my Diploma of Permaculture Design
from Bill Mollison ,Permaculture Institute

2002 Registered teacher permaculture Institute
