I was born and raised in the suburban jungle outside Philadelphia. I've always had an affinity for the outdoors and that has only grown in time. At 18 I moved to New Orleans where I attended college and worked with a number of environmental organizations. After getting my degree in environmental studies I roamed around some. The majority of my work has been in labs- working with biochar. My passions are in restorative landscape design, resilient community development, and cooperative business models.
I've done some travelling and plan on much more to come. I tend to find myself thinking about humanities place in nature a whole bunch.
I was introduced to the concept of permaculture in 2010 but I didn't fully get into it until 2013.
In February of 2014 I relocated to Southern California for a job with a biofuels/biochar company. I then moved to a 5 acre orchard in Malibu, where I am working on implementing permaculture projects with my compadres in The Artizen School - http://artizenschool.com/
