Raised in the country village of Greenville, New York, USA. A military veteran who has worked and lived in Tunis, Tunisia; Kathmandu, Nepal; Quito, Ecuador; and Oahu, Hawaii. An artist/musician, filmmaker/actor, graphic/web designer, and permaculturist.
I came across permaculture while studying about Jacques Fresco's Venus Project. I was studying to be a Naturopathic Physician when I realized that I needed to start growing my own food and herbs. Understanding the connections between human biology and nutritional health and the needs of a dynamic ecosystem, I sought out an holistic system that would help me design a homestead and community that could thrive. I found permaculture to be that system.
I plan on being a teacher, consultant and researcher in cold temperate permaculture. I am currently taking steps in implementing a permaculture property design on my new 5 acre property in Hudson, NY.
