I am Denny Ehrlich, Co-Founder of Solarpunk NOW alongside the visionary artist and Art Director Agnes Friedrich. My roots aren't in traditional agriculture; my background lies deep in system transformation and the global social innovation movement.
Looking at the massive global challenges we face, I had a profound realization: Permaculture is not just a method for gardening—it is the ultimate, immediately applicable "operating system" for our present world. It is the most practical, actionable path to heal the earth and our social structures. But to truly shift the paradigm from a destructive "Desert by Default" to a regenerative "Forest by Design," we cannot rely on thick, theoretical books alone.
Our overarching mission is clear: We are making permaculture a global mass movement. The Engine: PLAYtoGROW & Infinity ToolsTo cure society's climate paralysis and the overwhelming complexity of system design, we developed PLAYtoGROW. We use "Impact Gaming" to turn saving the planet into the most exciting, hands-on game in the world. The core of this method relies on our Infinity Tools (like reusable Infinity Stonepaper and the 3D-prototyping wax Beenius).
Instead of struggling with abstract theories, users map out water cycles, topographies, or organizational structures physically on the table.
Mistakes on our Stonepaper don't waste resources; they are simply wiped away with a damp cloth, acting as "compost" for the next iteration.
Active Creation: This haptic learning instantly transforms passive screen-consumers into active creators and system designers. We turn abstract stories into visceral experiences that manifest in physical reality ("Story -> Experience -> Reality").
The Call to Action: Let's Build the MyceliumWe do not believe in centralized, top-down corporate structures; Solarpunk NOW operates like a mycelium network. We build the "Hardware" (the Infinity Tools) and the overarching framework, but we need local "Fruiting Bodies" to thrive. We are actively looking for global partners, organizations, and permaculture practitioners who want to co-develop, spread, and monetize the PLAYtoGROW concept. We are looking for partners who master "ContextCraft"—the ability to take our Solarpunk tools and adapt them seamlessly to specific environments.
Let’s build homes that shit soil and make saving the planet our business.
Reach out, and let's design the regeneration together
