Worked as a civil engineer for over 20 years on various types of projects including hydrology, dam safety, pipelines, hydro-generation, water and wastewater treatment and desalination; finishing up as a consultant running tenders for major projects. I took a holiday in France, fell in love and decided to study visual communication and graphic design.

Having some time on my hands after years of corporate deadlines, I researched the global warming issue. I also became convinced of the importance of growing organic food locally, and came across permaculture. It just makes so much sense.

Currently my partner and I are looking for a site to develop as a permaculture site, to provide us with food and a home surrounded by nature.
