I received my Geoff Lawton permaculture design course certificate in the fall of 2013 (10/31/2013) from Geoff Lawton's first online permaculture design course.

I became interested in permaculture because I have been eating a 100% raw vegan diet since January 2011 and buy fruits in bulk and eat large amounts of greens. I volunteer with my friend in Meriden, CT on his farm. I am studying straw-bale construction, which uses the straw bales as the walls, which are coated with thick plaster.

My intention is to grow fruits and greens on land in Connecticut using permaculture. I would like to buy land and participate in building a straw-bale house on that land.
