Retired migrant having moved to Ashhurst in the Manawatu from Christchurch. I have recently completed a PDC course held in my village. My journey in nature, specifically in shamanism was the catalyst that encouraged me to seek greater knowledge in permaculture. My working background includes the development of community employment and training project. Working and assisting people with disabilities into employment or training. Assisting and supporting student studying towards formal NZ qualifications in Infrastructure to achieve their objectives. My interests include creative art by way of painting and in the creation of jewellery recycled from old coins. I am a father, grandfather, pack leader of two dogs and enjoy nature and silence. My project design was from a permaculture social perspective looking at the combined strengths and skills of my fellow students and how these qualities could be used collectively to benefit the community. I am now in limbo as I consider how I can best utilise recent skills and knowledge that I have gained through PDC. Any suggestions are welcome :)
