This project is ongoing, changing and growing. Before the project began, the landscape was parched and dry with very few plants. Each year I carve out another section to plant more trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals. All of the plants are useful and have multiple functions. Almost all are edible, medicinal or both. I have added in the element of beauty and fragrance.         Sheet mulch was used to create most of the planting areas.
