Have been an organic gardener since age of 15.
Involved in naturalist studies , my job and other forms of educating my self, so it was not until 2006 that I started learning about Permaculture.
In 2006 purchased 25 acres right after moving from USA to Sweden. Started building an eco-retreat & education center, then I remembered a friend telling me about Permaculture (in 1996).
Have been reading, watching videos and most importantly putting all this to practice on land that is as far north as Anchorage, Alaska (sub-arctic conditions). As I discover more and more about Permaculture I know this is for me...it is exactly what I want to do.
Now several years after starting, I have had volunteers from all over Europe come and help and learn at Earthway Experience Permacuclture Center. Have been lucky enough to be able to teach several "Intro to Permaculture" courses each year since 2009.
