Happy day :) i had birthday yesterday and gave myself a present. I am looking forward very much to this course and to get more inspired ! To network and meet new people on the same kinda road in life. This coming week we will start put our fingers in the earth in a backyard in central oslo. Not really a permaculture project but i am sneaking bits in to train my design thinking. Quite a hard area that has very compressed mud soil, dappled shade, drunk people, kids playing and the rats... So Well Defined raised beds are what we are playing with :) got some water feature iin as bird and insect bath. Raised so no one steps in :) But gotta improve it or define it to Avoid cigarett butts... As for plants we are going for perennial soil improvers and hardy "can take a beating" ones. And some easy snacks for the kids like strawberry and peas. There is trees and bushes from before and since they are well established and look like they like it there we will work with them. I think it wil be a fun experience but cant help thinking that probly after taking the course i will know quite a few things i woould do diffrent... But hey, i can improve and redo next spring if im still in town :)
