This year we have started out by building 7 new growing beds. 3 for fruit and berry bushes and 4 for veggies. We have build in a lasagne way with wet wood in the bottom followed by soil, horse manure, straw, dried leaves, cardboard and topsoil. Then covered again by mulch collected in from the local area. planting list incl. pumpkin, lettuce, spinach, cucumber, tomato, beans, peas, nasturtium, comfrey, borrage, callendula, leek, onion, cabbage and corn. We have used small pollytunnels made out of clear tarp for nursery. In the water filtration system only the plants in the first reservoir survived. We will therefor put in more gravel and replant closer to the surface.
