Making a chook enclosure which is actually doubling as a chook-tractor (it can be moved). This performs a few functions:- it keeps the chickens from eating/destroying my younger gardens; it keeps them in an area which is not too small but in their habit of scratching etc..improves the soil; their manure also improves the soil over time and they have natural forage nearby such as the passionfruit vine (despite the vegetable scraps, mash/grain they get daily); and shade throughout different times of the day from the Macadamia tree.
