I was itching and preparing for years to get land and apply the principals..

In 2010 i finally acquired a 4h property in the North West South Africa
This land was pretty much destroyed, it was farmed heavily with tractors and chemicals for years and then left to sit as it was just to damaged to farm... even with fertilisers.

I moved in the the middle of a dust bowl and stayed in a caravan.
It was ether extremely hot or cold .. nothing would grow..
the 2 hardest years of my life followed.

This place is now verging on paradise, with food, dams, swales, food, thousands of trees, frogs, birds.. oh did i mention lots of food!

The project is almost on auto pilot … and now i am very ready to get into the next project!
