At the end of October I moved to Japan to join my wife who left France a month before I did. The plan still stands: to get some more experience farming, to find some land and to create my own micro-farm. However, as things are moving forwards, the details are becoming clearer: I have spent the past month in Tokyo working out who does what, and where, and getting inspiration for just what to do myself.
Right now, I have a five-year plan which will allow me to work slowly and surely towards my end-result: an operation based around a permaculture market garden producing heirloom French vegetables, targeting restaurants in Tokyo and farmers' markets, alongside a smaller natural agriculture garden for my own consumption and some local farmers' markets.
