I'm an amateur backyard gardener in North Texas. I have a greenhouse, 4 raised hugel beds, 1 keyhole garden, a compost pile, and about 15 fruit trees in a 0.19 acre urban lot.

I became aware and interested in permaculture thanks to Jack Spirko from The Survival Podcast.

I'm currently working on ways to keep my garden alive this winter. So far, my raised beds have survived an ice storm and many nights in the 20's F using cloth cover.
