I grew up in a rural area and lived on a couple of farms but never got into growing/raising until later. I helped with the feeding/watering and other stuff but never got in to it. I am an IT professional by trade but I took the long road to get to it. I enjoy working with my hands and I love to tinker.

I became interested in Permaculture after hearing about it from several places, Jack Spriko is one of them. What I like most about it is the self sufficient aspect of it.

I am just learning about permaculture right now. I am planning on making a wood core bed (Hugulkultur) this spring out of my raised bed.
