A New Zealander pioneering in Sauherad Norway.
Although raised in Waitakere City, I was exposed to many conventional farming practices from a young age.
My first conscious experience of permactulture was when I recieved a scholarship from The University of Auckland to attend The Australasian Permaculture Convergence in Turangi, New Zealand. Through this i was enveloped into the world which is permaculture.
In 2013 I participated as a co-ordinator in the Nordic Permaculture festival in Hurdal, Norway. this experience broadened my understanding of permaculture from not only a way of gardening but to a holistic way of being; politicaly, economically and socially.
Currently I have a south facing property over looking the Telemark Canal and am activley transforming with permaculture at the center of what we do. The property is in an awesome climatic zone and many varieties of fruits and berries thrive close by.
I also have property in Golden Bay, New Zealand - a centre of alternative lifestyling- and look forward to laying further roots there as time passes.
