Born and raised in Boise, Idaho.

I had already been interested in gardening for fresh food and my garden has gotten bigger with each year. I heard last year that planting your own garden is like printing money and it really got me thinking, yeah it is! I started to listen to the Survival Podcast with Jack Spirko at about the same time. His permaculture based podcasts (there are many) really opened my eyes to what could be accomplished even on a small urban lot. I though my lot is still too small. Then I was directed to Geoff Lawton's video's. There were a couple that were on small urban food forests and I was hooked. So here I am.

I am looking to change my lot and my neighbors (moms) lot into a urban food forest. I will be transforming as quickly as I can learn and build.
