My name is Paulo, 31 years, i’m from brazil, I come from a lower middle class family, with low income. In my education prevailed the teaching of my mother that comes from the countryside of São Paulo growing up in the farm, that provided my orientation to sustainable thinking, hard work, treatment of the land/gardens and a lot of discipline.

I've been working at least 8 years in big companies and my last position was financial manager/consultant. Now I’m working with permaculture after attending a Permaculture Designe Course and internship in north of Sweden (Ridgedale Permaculture)

A free sustainable economy is my vision: free from the debt; free from governments lies, fear and manipulation; free from products created to obsolescence. I'm fully oriented towards a social and spiritual development, green economy and in all aspects of supply chain; In short a healthy integration and interaction with the environment.

My challenge is to break with the old paradigms, and aquire knowledge, experience and expertise in Permaculture Design. Later on I will go back to Brazil and start my project and share the knowledge with poor communities in the north of the country.

My experience with farming related work is following: Whole System Planning, Maps and Digital Design, Farm Forestry, Mobile sawmilling, Water systems, Nursery systems, Animal grazing, Mobile fencing, Kitchen gardens, Food forest, Perennial cropping, Cold climate techniques, Urban systems, Local food systems, Architectural Design, Natural Building, Renovating naturally, Energy systems, Waste systems, Community building, Composting systems, Compost teas, Soil building, Biofertilizers, Soil Microscopy, Holistic management and keyline design (Yeomans Plow).
