I have been farming commercially for 30+ years and have a BS and MS in Plant Science from the University of New Hampshire. My children are grown and my husband is retired. We continue to develop our 7 Ac. property to move to a carbon negative life and to use all our resources responsibly.
I have had my own garden since I was 6 and read everything I could find about green living when I was in high school before they called it being green. Permaculture is a wonderful progression toward synthesizing everything I am interested in into a holistic design. I have just completed my first PDC as of August, 2014.
I will begin leading workshops this fall. I hope to develop a cooperative greenhouse project to make it possible for folks to get an early start on starting crops in our cold climate.
