Although Steve grew up on a farm, there was something completely unappealing about the way farming took place. It was allot of work – over and over again. After working in an office and living in the city for many years, the desire to eat clean, healthy food woke the farming days of his youth.

Researching ways to grow healthy foods, he and his wife discovered the sustainability of permaculture. They searched for a small farm that could offer the protection from the industrialized cornfields of Indiana and allow them to create the clean environment they desired to raise their family.

Steve and his family are in the process of transforming a 20-acre farm into a food abundant oasis. Plans include many varieties of berries and fruit trees, pasture fed animals, and eventually hope to make the farm a destination for other families to learn to create their own oasis.
