I grew up in the country near Busselton WA, and moved to Perth where I eventually forged a career as a design draftsman in Perth for nearly twenty years.

Too many years working long hours behind a desk and computer screen had caught up with my health, so my journey of discovery into permaculture really began as I researched health & nutrition. I discovered how deficient our food is of nutrients and how destructive the monocultural and intensive farming practices are to the planet and ourselves.

After completing Geoff Lawtons PDC in 2014, we decided that we'd had enough of the city lifestyle and chose to move to the beautiful town of Denmark in the south of Western Australia. Our old lifestyle in Perth was largely disconnected from family and local community and lacked a sense of meaning/purpose.

We aim to reconnect, recharge and reinvent ourselves here in Denmark and as we gain more skills and confidence we hope to make a more vibrant and positive contribution to our community.
