Hi fellow Permies.
My name is Ben. I was born in Australia and i grew up in a very remote and isolated part of Australia called Broken Hill.
My families background has been agriculture for as far back as our family tree goes. I spent the majority of my childhood helping out on the family farm which was predominately sheep and cattle based livestock.
In 2011 I completed a four year "Mechanical Engineering" Trade certificate with "Sunrasia Technical College" but at some point i started to realise the negative impacts this type of industry was having on the land and decided that there must be a better alternative and that's what lead me down the rabbit hole eventually ending up at "Permaculture".
For the past 4 years I have been travelling around the world getting experience in as many different climates and geographical locations as possible.
I eventually completed my PDC in 2013 at the "Panya Project" in Thailand and decided to become a long term member of the community after completing the course and took on an Internship gaining much hands on and practical experience in all aspects of Permaculture.
Whilst there I also gained invaluable teaching experience and taught many outdoor classes in the garden and natural building.
Currently I am Teaching Permaculture and Consulting with numerous projects around South East Asia, Nepal and India.
