Hi, I'm Lonneke :)

I just started out learning about Permaculture since I went to Nepal to work at an organic farm/resort in rural Nepal in January 2014. I stayed there for 8 months and I received my PDC Certificate here in September 2014 from Permaville.

I studied International Tourism and Recreation Management and focused my internship and graduation thesis on sustainability in tourism in terms of nature and animals. I wrote my thesis for the WSPA; about the treatment of elephants in tourism in South-East Asia. I have always been interested in sustainability and I feel blessed that I came in contact with Permaculture.

As an experienced traveler and now also a permie, my dream is to open a resort of my own where people can relax, dive, do yoga and where volunteers can also help out and do PDCs!
