I'm an author and permaculture designer living in Sydney Australia, with a background in science communication and a passion for environmental issues, especially climate change and energy.

Permaculture combines my fascination with the living world with my goal to make cities healthier, greener and more liveable while reducing food waste. Over the past 10 years I have basically conducted my own experiment in how to grow dozens of food species on a very large urban balcony.

This year I am launching an urban permaculture practise. My first area of focus will be clients living in the dense urban condition, then brancing out into suburban and regional permaculture design.
