Started life in Connecticut, went to a boys camp in Maine and boarding high-school in Vermont and then Prescott college in Arizona. I met my beautiful wife Emily and together we had our beautiful daughter, then moved to Maine. There we had our son, then moved to Baja California Sur. After 4 years in Mexico we now are back in the USA in Pennsylvania.
I have always loved nature and had a strong connection with it. Gone through ups and downs with the "stupidity" of humanity (my own negative take that I needed to get over). Sometimes the truth hurts and soetimes its hard to see the truth through the painful moments. Getting much better at being positive and moving in the right direction. Took a natural building course through Cal-Earth and, with the advise of my wife, took a combo permaculture natural architecture course. At that time I didn't know much about Permaculture, now I'm so glad I got into it. Followed up with another course with Geoff Lawton. He was a guest speaker at Cal-Earth and I knew I needed to take a course with him. So glad I did.
Working as an artist in PA led me to my current job, teaching woodworking, blacksmithing, and ceramics at the Kimberton Waldorf School.
It is my desire to do all I can to be sustainable, and spread as much knowledge as possible. What better place to start than with our children.
