Matt is an experienced and accredited International Permaculture designer, passionate about bringing solutions for regenerative global holistic progression through Permaculture design. Matt has been building with earth for eight years, believing it is a key factor in providing housing for all and has a six minute part on natural building in the Seeds of Permaculture documentary. Matt was supervisor for this educational and inspirational production.
He has actively pioneered and worked with communities and land-based projects, both in Asia and Europe, for the last seven years and is a long-term member of the Panya Project in Thailand. Matt believes in the power of sharing knowledge and working with grassroots projects to make social change happen. He celebrates diversity and believes in a balance between the head, heart and hands. His passion for the plant realm often results in highly productive and abundant yields.
Matt has been awarded a Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design by the British Permaculture Association; this is an internationally recognized three year program that formally accredits and recognizes Matt's Permaculture practice. Matt has also been trained as a Permaculture teacher in the UK and is certified as participatory facilitator and eco-village designer by Gaia Education in Thailand.
