I graduated from NCSU in 85 with a BS in Technical Agronomy, and have been involved in producing many tropical crops in Guatemala. I have also been involved in designing and implementing a large scale crop improvement program for the subsistance farmers, starting by improving their corn yields through good agronomic practices. I took several courses in Landscape Horticulture with Will Hooker, who I see is part of this forum! Together with other partners, we are looking at starting an organic fertilizer company in Central America to generate income to be able to help SOS Children Villages in Central America, specifically in helping reunite families.
