My name is Daeus and I live in Ohio. I have been gardening for 5 years and have been enamored with sustainable practices, wild edibles, homesteading, edible landscaping, etc since about that time. My first real introduction to natural rejuvenating horticulture/agriculture was from watching Back to Eden. This got me started on the right track, but I still couldn't see things in the big picture. It was actually while visiting the garden of the man in that video that I learned about permaculture.

While at the garden, my aunt told me that there was another man she liked watching even more than the man we were visiting. I was intrigued, and so she sent me a few links. One of them was to Geoff Lawton's free videos. I gorged myself on them and knew for sure that I had to take his course. When registration opened, I signed up immediately. Since then, I have completed the course and graduated.

I now plan to do consultant work for people who wan't to open up the potential of their property. I will be working mainly in my local area.
