I am a semi-retired businessman, in late forties, looking to set up a farm and retire to a rural location and shift to a simpler lifestyle.

I am basically a city person, with no background in Agriculture, except my involvement with processing & export/import of some agricultural crops.

I was researching organic agriculture, when I came across permaculture. Researched leisurely for almost a year then enrolled in Geoff's online course. And frankly, everything simply makes sense and there is going to be no looking back.

I am basically scouting for land at the moment and will be tying up with someone who has practical experience in permaculture, for mine is only book learning, untempered with experience.
