Have lived in the Midwest, Alaska, and southwestern United States. I have been an active gardener for most of my life in many diverse areas and climates.

I became aware of permaculture by watching "Greening the Desert" and the rest of Geoff Lawton's videos. After devouring everything I could get on the subject, I prepared myself and enrolled in the 2015 PDC. The rest is history.
