I'm an architect licensed in Arizona and a LEED accredited professional. I've completed one PDC and am waiting for a chance to make up the last weekend of another local PDC. Throughout my career I've been committed to designing environmentally sensitive buildings.
I've always tried to work with cutting edge building materials to achieve maximum efficiency but have often been troubled with their origin and embodied energy. This, along with the search for local food and acute environmental awareness brought me to permaculture.
I'm currently working on an 8 acre site design in southern Arizona including water harvesting, grazing, aquaponics and some flood abatement. I look forward to providing design services on sites of any size from small urban sites up to large sites.
