I'm an electronics technician by trade, Life Coach by choice, and permie by accident: I built an earth house with solar design, rain water harvesting etc 20 years ago when I didn't know PC existed.

A few years ago, I read Permaculture One, and finally found my intellectual home! I have been reading Holmgren, Mollison, and Lawton since then, planning and practising. Now the time has come to get serious.

I am currently investigating whether to stay in NZ (Whangarei area), or move over to Oz (in which case Kempsey/Crescent Head would likely be my new home). My intention is to built a reasonably self sufficient place from scratch: House, veggie gardens, fruit - and nut orchard, chooks, ducks, maybe milk cow(s) later on, bees, ... Am ready to make a decision in a few weeks time.
