Have followed the thread from formal study of environmental science, to working in the fields of restoration ecology, organic farming to permaculture. I view my own study and practice of permaculture as an attempt to tie all of these threads together. Furthermore, the skills developed in the process of permaculture landscape design-- e.g. observation, pattern recognition, critical thinking, adaptive management--have become critical in my personal path toward emotional maturity and relationships.
My interests lie in regenerative broadacre agriculture using the techniques of keyline design, linear food forests, diverse pastures, and mob grazing.
As of writing, my family and I are preparing to move to Omaha, NE in August 2016. There I will be homeschooling my two sons, continuing my studies, acquainting myself with a new bioregion and botanical community, and networking with other permaculture designers.
