I got interested in Permaculture after an extended holiday spent WWOOFing at community and family farms around Europe. In January 2009 I completed a PDC with Christian Shearer at the Panya Project near Chiang Mai in Thailand.

I am currently involved in organising the Students of Sustainability conference 2011 that will be held on Wiradjuri land in Albury, NSW from July 6th to 10th.

SoS 2011 will be a week full of workshops and forums on a range of sustainability topics, demonstrating how theory and practice can be used to make positive social and environmental change, and will involve both DIY and theory permaculture workshops.
